Rep. Calls For Independent Counsel In MF Global Probe

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 6:07 PM ET) -- A House Republican on Wednesday called on the U.S. Department of Justice to appoint an independent counsel in the criminal investigation behind the collapse of MF Global Holdings Ltd., fearing that former CEO Jon Corzine's ties to government officials could impede the probe.
