11th Circ. Stands By Ruling On Employers' Union Invitation

Law360, New York (May 3, 2012, 4:57 PM EDT) -- An anti-union advocacy group on Thursday celebrated the Eleventh Circuit's decision last week to stand by its decision to reinstate a lawsuit accusing a dog track owner of supporting a local union by inviting it onto company grounds.

National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation Inc., which had provided free legal counsel to Mardi Gras Gaming employee Martin Mulhall, said the appellate court's ruling represented its unwillingness to cede to organized labor pressures.
