Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 7:09 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge ruled Thursday that Westchester County breached a $60 million 2009 fair housing settlement when the county executive vetoed legislation that sought to ban source-of-income discrimination in Westchester.
The ruling of U.S. District Judge Denise Cote reverses a March 16 decision by Magistrate Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein, who sustained the county's objection to the breach allegation.
