Ticketmaster Hits Lloyd's With $5M Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 2:22 PM ET) -- Ticketmaster LLC hit Lloyd's of London insurers on Wednesday with a suit in California state court seeking over $5 million in damages over the insurer's alleged failure to defend and indemnify the ticket provider from five class actions in Canada.

Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation Entertainment Inc. say that they were covered by a Lloyd's technology, media and professional liability policy that should pay the cost of the Canadian class actions, and though they have demanded payment, the insurer has failed to provide it....
