Samsung Sanctioned For Keeping Source Code From Apple

Law360, New York (May 7, 2012, 1:16 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Friday granted Apple Inc.’s bid for sanctions against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. in a portion of their sprawling patent war, finding Samsung violated a court order requiring it to hand over source code for its touch-screen devices.

Samsung was ordered to produce source code for its accused products no later than Dec. 31, but failed to hand over all of the requested code until March 12, four days after the close of fact discovery, according to the order granting Apple’s motion...
