Law360, New York (May 07, 2012, 3:03 PM ET) -- Medical supplier PSS World Medical Inc.'s rival Owens & Minor Inc. used stolen trade secrets and the help of two former PSS employees to break a nondisclosure pact and establish a competing supply sourcing business, a lawsuit moved to Florida federal court Thursday alleges.
The suit, originally filed in state court, claims OMI used discussions over a potential joint venture arrangement linking PSS’ sourcing business with OMI’s customer base to misappropriate proprietary information and trade secrets about the business.
