Afghan Food Contractor Asks 2nd Circ. To Junk $38M Judgment

Law360, New York (May 08, 2012, 7:32 PM ET) -- Supreme Foodservice GmbH, which contracted with the U.S. to provide food to troops in Afghanistan, on Friday asked the Second Circuit to overturn a $38 million arbitration judgment in a contract dispute with indicted subcontractor Agility Public Warehousing Co. KSC.

Supreme had hired Agility Public Warehousing and Professional Contract Administrators, two companies that provided food to U.S. troops in Iraq, Kuwait and Jordan, to provide food pricing and supply chains, but later canceled their contracts after finding that Agility was being investigated for illegal procurement practices...
