DOD Promises Better Oversight Of Future F-35 Purchases

Law360, New York (May 08, 2012, 8:19 PM ET) -- U.S. Department of Defense officials told a Senate panel Tuesday that the military has tightened oversight of its over-budget F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, withholding some purchases until contractor Lockheed Martin Corp. meets stricter benchmarks for performance and cost.
