Dewey Partners Exit En Masse As Staff Faces Pink Slips

Law360, New York (May 08, 2012, 2:58 PM ET) -- Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP saw almost 50 partner departures on Tuesday amid reports that the ailing firm told staff in its New York office that their employment with the firm could end as early as next week.

The firm told associates in a meeting Tuesday that their last day at the firm would be May 15, sources told the Wall Street Journal. The meeting followed reports that Dewey had informed secretaries that it planned to end their employment on May 11.
