LexisNexis, Westlaw Scoff At Unregistered Copyright Claims

Law360, New York (May 08, 2012, 3:18 PM ET) -- It is settled law that in order to bring a copyright suit, plaintiffs must have registered a copyright, and arguments to the contrary by attorneys accusing LexisNexis and Westlaw of reposting their work without permission are "absurd," the database operators told a federal court Monday.
