Lap-Band Marketer, Clinics Can't Push Patients Into Arbitration

Law360, New York (May 09, 2012, 9:55 PM ET) -- A California judge on Wednesday refused to order a class of patients who were injured or died after undergoing Lap-Band procedures to arbitrate claims alleging a marketing firm and Los Angeles-based clinics failed to warn patients about the risks of the weight loss surgery.
