Australia Passes Bills To Streamline Tariff Systems

Law360, New York (May 11, 2012, 6:06 PM EDT) -- Australia's parliament on Wednesday advanced two bills aimed at streamlining the country's anti-dumping and tariff systems as part of an overhaul announced last year that is intended to make the systems easier to use.

One of the bills would enable anti-dumping measures to be amended, including by altering the level of applicable duties, if the government decides to continue the duties.
