Law360, New York (May 16, 2012, 3:03 PM ET) -- Royal Dutch Shell PLC's Canadian affiliate said Tuesday it partnered with three major Asian energy companies on a liquefied natural gas export hub in British Columbia, aiming to infuse Canada's natural gas industry by supplying gas to countries across the Pacific.
Shell Canada Ltd. will own 40 percent of the joint venture, with Beijing-based PetroChina Co. Ltd., Korea Gas Corp. and Japan's Mitsubishi Corp. each snatching up a 20 percent interest. The companies did not offer cost projections.
