Judge Keeps Faulty Deck Class Action In Federal Court

Law360, New York (May 17, 2012, 8:32 PM ET) -- A federal magistrate judge on Thursday refused to remand to Michigan state court a putative class action against wooden deck manufacturer Trex Co. Inc. over allegedly faulty materials, ruling that sufficient aggregate damage and potential class members exist to keep the case under federal jurisdiction.
