JPMorgan CEO To Take The Stand Before Senate Panel

Law360, New York (May 17, 2012, 8:08 PM EDT) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon agreed Thursday to appear at a hearing of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee that will focus on the bank's surprise $2 billion trading loss announced last week.

Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., the committee's chairman, said Dimon's appearance would come after regulators had a chance to testify about their views of what happened in JPMorgan's chief investment office to cause the bank to lose at least $2 billion on a massive derivative trade.
