Law360, New York (May 18, 2012, 3:30 PM ET) -- China's government on Friday blasted a recent U.S. Department of Commerce decision that favored anti-dumping duties ranging from 31 to 250 percent on Chinese solar panels, saying that the preliminary determination was unfair and evinced a tendency toward trade protectionism in the U.S.
Shen Danyang, a spokesman for China's Ministry of Commerce, said China was strongly dissatisfied and complained that the Commerce Department had failed to recognize China's market economy status.
