Enzo Appeals Loss In DNA Detection Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Enzo Biochem Inc. has appealed a court’s decision to grant Applera Corp.’s summary judgment motion of invalidity in a patent infringement suit over DNA detection technology.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut tossed Enzo’s remaining infringement claims against Applera in a Thursday ruling that spurred Enzo to file an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Friday.
