ADA Doesn't Shield Medical Marijuana Users, 9th Circ. Says

Law360, New York (May 22, 2012, 7:42 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit ruled Monday that the Americans with Disabilities Act does not protect against discrimination on the basis of marijuana use — even medical marijuana use supervised by a doctor in accordance with state law — unless that use is authorized by federal law.
