Law360, New York (May 22, 2012, 5:56 PM ET) -- Neustar Inc. has recruited a WilmerHale partner and former Federal Trade Commission attorney and adviser to serve as its chief privacy officer and deputy general counsel, the technology company announced Tuesday.
Starting June 1, Becky Burr will help Neustar maintain privacy practices that protect customer and consumer information.
The Sterling, Va.-based company provides real-time information and analysis to Internet, telecommunications, entertainment and marketing companies. It also uses technology to help customers institute cybersecurity and fraud protection measures as well as find new revenue opportunities.
