Pryor Cashman Let Out Of Courtney Love Defamation Case

Law360, Los Angeles (May 22, 2012, 4:48 PM EDT) -- A California state judge on Tuesday granted Pryor Cashman LLP's request to be relieved as Courtney Love's counsel as the singer continues to fight allegations that she posted defamatory Twitter messages about her previous attorneys at Gordon & Holmes.

Pryor Cashman attorney James A. Janowitz said Love, lead singer of the band Hole and widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, repeatedly has failed to pay for the firm's legal services and has not responded to the firm's attempts to contact her.
