Law360, New York (May 23, 2012, 4:11 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday approved a settlement between funk icon George Clinton and Universal Music Group Inc. in a contract suit over royalties from master recordings with the band Parliament dating back to the 1970s.
