Businesses Want To Join AFL-CIO's "No-Match" Suit

Law360, New York (September 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of business associations is seeking to intervene in the AFL-CIO's lawsuit against the government in a bid for an order declaring invalid a final rule that would allow the Social Security Administration to notify employers who receive so-called “no-match” letters that they may be subject to civil and criminal sanctions.
