Goldman Commits $40B To Clean Energy Over 10 Years

Law360, New York (May 24, 2012, 9:46 PM EDT) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc. plans to finance $40 billion in renewable-energy projects over the next decade, an area it considers at a “momentous point” of growth, the investment bank said Thursday.  

The bank, the fifth biggest in the U.S. by assets, will make a mix of equity investments, loans and public market underwritings to clean-power assets and companies, according to a report released at its annual meeting.
