Law360, New York (May 25, 2012, 3:37 PM ET) -- Anaheim Manufacturing Co. launched a suit in California federal court Thursday accusing Emerson Electric Co. of using exclusionary payments and exclusive dealing arrangements to stifle competition and protect its dominance in the U.S. market for residential food waste disposers.
Brea, Calif.-based Anaheim says Emerson's share of the U.S. market for garbage disposals has exceeded 90 percent in the past several years, and that Emerson had been successful in boxing out Anaheim and other would-be rivals.
