Pfizer, Teva Reach Licensing Deal For Generic Zyvox

Law360, New York (May 31, 2012, 4:15 PM ET) -- Pfizer Inc. and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. have reached an agreement on a licensing deal for a generic version of Pfizer's antibiotic Zyvox, according to a settlement affirmed by a Delaware federal judge on Tuesday.

Pfizer first sued Teva in January 2010 for patent infringement after Teva informed Pfizer that it had filed an abbreviated new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
