Masimo Hit With IP Suit Over Blood-Testing Technology

Law360, New York (June 1, 2012, 6:10 PM EDT) -- An early-stage medical research company hit Masimo Corp. with a lawsuit Wednesday in California federal court alleging that Masimo infringed three of its patents through its development and sale of noninvasive blood monitoring products.

Dominion Assets LLC claims that while Masimo has been aware of its valid patents for blood monitoring technology since November 2010, the company has continued to develop and sell products that rely on ideas patented by Dominion.
