Judge Nixes Microsoft Contract Suit Over Eolas Patent Blitz

Law360, New York (June 4, 2012, 4:54 PM ET) -- An Illinois federal judge on Friday rejected an argument by Microsoft Corp. that Eolas Technologies Inc.'s patent infringement litigation in Texas targeting 23 companies violated provisions in a 2007 settlement agreement, ruling the software giant's interpretation was too broad.
