Law360, New York (June 05, 2012, 1:52 PM ET) -- Spain's competition authority hit Cementos Portland Valderrivas SA with a €1.3 million ($1.6 million) fine on Monday for providing false or misleading information during an investigation into claims the company participated in a concrete price-fixing scheme.
The National Competition Commission, or CNC, found in a resolution Thursday that Cementos Portland had breached its duty to collaborate with the agency, supplying incorrect and misleading information during the course of an investigation into alleged cartel activity in the concrete products market.
