Invesco Pays $141M For Manhattan Office, Retail Building

Law360, New York (June 4, 2012, 7:35 PM EDT) -- Invesco Ltd. has purchased an office and retail building at 130 Prince St. in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood from real estate investor and operator Waterman Interests LLC for $140.5 million, Waterman announced Monday.

Since purchasing the property with institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management in 2007 for $112 million, Waterman took on an "aggressive releasing and capital improvement campaign" in an effort to increase the building's value.
