Law360, New York (June 05, 2012, 1:46 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Monday ruled that Apple Inc.'s motion for a preliminary injunction against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.'s Galaxy 10.1 tablet is premature because the Federal Circuit still has jurisdiction over the matter.
Apple's suit maintains Samsung's phones and tablets infringe its utility and design patents for touch-screen technology features while Samsung says Apple's iPhone, iPad and other touch-screen devices actually infringe several Samsung patents.The two tech heavyweights are embroiled in numerous related court disputes across the globe.
