Clemens Defense Pokes Holes In McNamee's Steroid Claims

Law360, Washington (June 7, 2012, 7:26 PM EDT) -- Roger Clemens' attorneys continued to take shots at strength coach Brian McNamee's credibility Thursday, pointing out inconsistencies in his testimony to jurors, the information he gave investigators and his estranged wife's account about his involvement in the pitcher's alleged performance-enhancing drug use.

While McNamee told jurors that he collected needles, steroid vials and used cotton balls after injecting Clemens with steroids in 2001 to avoid “a battle royale” with his wife Eileen, she testified Thursday that she didn't know about the injections until 2003 or 2004....
