Law360, Wilmington (June 08, 2012, 3:44 PM ET) -- After concluding a pivotal hearing Friday, the fate of Tribune Co.’s hard-fought reorganization plan lies with a Delaware bankruptcy judge who said he hoped to reach a decision next month.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin J. Carey told the media giant and creditors assembled in Wilmington that he planned to issue an opinion by early July, indicating the prospect of an appeal made him wary of ruling from the bench.
