8th Circ. Revives Employee's Racial Slur Defamation Claim

Law360, New York (June 8, 2012, 4:43 PM EDT) -- The Eighth Circuit on Friday found that a woman who had accidentally given a customer a receipt with a racial slur on it could sue for defamation after her employer, Genesco Inc., published statements implying the slur was intentional.
