FDA Mulls Stricter Controls To Curb Hydrocodone Abuse

Law360, New York (June 8, 2012, 7:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Friday that its drug safety advisory committee will consider restricting access to the painkiller hydrocodone by moving it to a higher class of controlled substances, a move the government has been privately mulling for more than a decade.
