Holder Picks 2 US Attys To Head Probes Into Security Leaks

Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 10:54 PM ET) -- U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder on Friday appointed two prosecutors to lead probes into recent leaks of confidential information surrounding national security operations, such as cyberattacks against Iran’s nuclear program, following days of criticism from members of Congress.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ronald C. Machen Jr. and U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein will head up separate criminal investigations that are currently being conducted by the FBI. Many of the leaks reportedly came from sources inside the administration....
