GE To Invest $900M In Turkish Projects Across 5 Sectors

Law360, New York (June 11, 2012, 2:29 PM ET) -- General Electric Co. on Monday pledged $900 million worth of investments in Turkey spanning the aviation, energy, health care, transportation and infrastructure sectors, solidifying the American conglomerate's presence in one of the region's most dynamic growth markets.

The GE investment will be made over a period of three years and will focus on both project development and innovation, GE Media Relations Director Andrew Williams said Monday, confirming an earlier announcement the company made at a joint press conference in Istanbul with Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan....
