UTC Proposes EU Antitrust Fixes In $16.5B Goodrich Deal

Law360, New York (June 11, 2012, 2:23 PM EDT) -- United Technologies Corp. on Monday offered concessions to address the European Union's antitrust concerns over the company's proposed $16.5 billion purchase of aircraft equipment maker Goodrich Corp.

With the submission of the UTC commitments, the European Commission will extend its review of the proposed acquisition by 15 working days, the watchdog said in a notice on its website.
