DC Circ. Nixes Chevron's Doc Access In $18B Ecuador Case

Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 5:38 PM ET) -- The D.C. Circuit on Tuesday reversed a lower court ruling granting Chevron Corp. access to hundreds of documents in a fraud case over an $18 billion oil spill judgment against the energy giant in Ecuadorean court, finding that the decision was based on a ruling that is no longer valid.
