Drinker Biddle Bests Lehman Broker's Suit In 2nd Circ.

Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 5:50 PM EDT) -- The Second Circuit on Tuesday denied a former Lehman Brothers Inc. broker's bid to revive her malpractice suit alleging that Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP's inadequate representation in an arbitration cost her $2.5 million, saying it was in fact her own fraudulent conduct that had cost her.

A three-judge panel agreed with a New York federal court's ruling that different representation would not have improved the result for former Goldman Sachs & Co. and Lehman broker Sofia Frankel, saying the lower court's ruling had been solid....
