Calif. Senate Panel OKs $540M In Cuts To Court Budget

Law360, San Diego (June 12, 2012, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A California Senate budget panel on Tuesday passed a modified proposal to cut funding for the court system by $300 million, while giving individual courts the ability to hold onto some of their reserves, and approved a measure to take away $240 million from court construction projects.
