Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 4:45 PM ET) -- Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP on Monday asked a judge to prevent Lexington Operating Partners LLC, the landlord of its New York headquarters, from terminating its lease over a $63 million rent battle.
The order would stay the effect of a termination notice Lexington sent to Davis Polk on June 6 and keep the firm in its Midtown offices while the parties continue to arbitrate a disputed rent hike. In the notice, Lexington gave the firm until Friday to pay up.
