Kleiner Perkins Seeks Arbitration Of Bias Suit

Law360, New York (June 14, 2012, 4:53 PM EDT) -- Silicon Valley venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers LLC asked a California state judge on Wednesday to force a former female employee to arbitrate her claims that the firm retaliated against her after she spoke up about alleged sexual harassment.

KPCB also formally refuted junior partner Ellen Pao's lawsuit in a separate filing, two weeks after partner John Doerr made a strong public denial in which he said the investment group would “vigorously defend” its reputation.
