USPTO Veteran Joins Woodcock Washburn

Law360, New York (September 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intellectual property boutique Woodcock Washburn LLP has hooked a 33-year veteran of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office who will help guide clients through appeals before the agency.

William F. Smith, a longtime administrative patent judge at the USPTO, joined Woodcock's Atlanta office on Sept. 8. He worked at the IP law firm Clements Walker for almost two years.
