High Court Denies Ex-McKesson Chairman's Conviction Appeal

Law360, Los Angeles (June 18, 2012, 5:58 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday denied former McKesson Corp. Chairman Charles McCall's bid to overturn his 2009 securities fraud conviction and 10-year prison sentence for inflating company revenues and stock prices.

The high court refused to consider McCall's appeal for a writ of certiorari seeking to overturn the verdict. McCall argued jurors were improperly instructed to consider whether he had recklessly disregarded warnings about accounting improprieties at the company.
