PSE&G Wins NJ Approval For $390M Transmission Project

Law360, New York (June 19, 2012, 6:41 PM EDT) -- Public Service Electric & Gas Co. won approval from New Jersey's utilities regulator on Monday for a $390 million project to upgrade transmission lines and substations in the state's northern and central regions.

The state Board of Public Utilities said the North Central Reliability Project — which will go through Essex, Morris, Union, Somerset and Middlesex counties — is critical to addressing reliability problems that could occur as early as 2014.
