Law360, New York (June 25, 2012, 11:14 PM ET) -- While the number of women leading the legal departments of Fortune 500 companies has doubled since 1999, several female general counsels said Monday that there are still many challenges to overcome, including pay disparity and prejudice against women in leadership roles.
Women face a number of challenges in the workplace, including unequal pay, political maneuvering and sometimes a lack of respect, a panel of female general counsel said Monday at a New York City Bar Association event.
