Wynn's Ex-Wife Asks Court To Release $1B Worth Of Stock

Law360, New York (June 19, 2012, 8:27 PM ET) -- The ex-wife of casino mogul Stephen A. Wynn asked a Nevada federal court on Tuesday to void a stockholder agreement limiting her access to the $1 billion worth of Wynn Resorts Ltd. shares she owns, arguing the restrictions lack the reasonable basis required by law.

Elaine Wynn, who received 9.7 percent of the company as part of a settlement following the couple's 2009 divorce, is arguing that a January 2010 stockholder agreement allowing her husband to prevent her from selling her shares is invalid.
