Oakland OKs CCIG, Prologis' $484M Industrial Hub

Law360, New York (June 20, 2012, 8:36 PM EDT) -- Oakland, Calif.'s city council voted Tuesday to greenlight industrial real estate giant Prologis Inc. and California Capital and Investment Group Inc.'s $484 million plan to turn an old U.S. Army base into a logistics and warehouse center.

Passing through five related resolutions, the City of Oakland's council approved the final reuse plan for the 140-acre site and authorized the city administrator to negotiate and execute various agreements that will get the maritime- and rail-centered project off the ground.
