Law360, New York (June 22, 2012, 4:40 PM ET) -- The Black Keys on Thursday sued The Home Depot Inc. and Pizza Hut Inc. in California federal court, accusing both companies of running commercials that use the rock duo’s compositions without their permission.
Band members Daniel Auerbach and Patrick Carney together filed separate lawsuits alleging that The Home Depot and Pizza Hut infringed their copyrights in running commercial advertisements that each incorporated a different track from the band’s 2011 album, “El Camino.”
