Milbank Reps IDB In $200M Abengoa Renewables Financing

Law360, New York (June 25, 2012, 3:32 PM EDT) -- Spanish infrastructure developer Abengoa SA has nailed down a $200 million revolving credit line from the Inter-American Development Bank, earmarked for renewable energy projects in Latin America, IDB representative Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy LLP said Monday.

Over the next six years, the credit line could facilitate projects worth up to $1.2 billion, according to the IDB. The development will primarily focus on Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru, and will cover renewable power transmission and generation, as well as water quality and sanitation.
